Kalola Home Spa Tips

We have collected some of our favorite spa tips that you can incorporate into your everyday life at home. You will be surprised how even 10 minutes of doing something for yourself can positively affect those around you. Reward yourself everyday and enjoy!

Create a Kalola Spa Bath

  • Draw a nice warm bath
  • Add aromatherapy essential oil or salts
  • Light an aromatherapy candle or diffuser with essential oil
  • Turn on relaxing spa music
  • Dip chamomile tea bags into the water. Place over eyes and soak away stress.

The Ultimate Kalola Pedicure

  • Decide on a quiet space and gather your tools
  • Light an aromatherapy candle and play spa music
  • Place marbles into a hot foot bath
  • Add foot soak and give yourself a foot massage by rolling your feet around
  • Exfoliate with Kalola's mineral salt based foot scrub with essential oils. Massage your feet and calves to promote circulation.
  • Soak some more, pat dry
  • Clip and file nails
  • Apply Seriously Smooth Butter and wear socks (overnight if possible)
  • Massage in our foot lotion that uses natural plant extracts
  • Rub essential oil blend into cuticles and nails for a healthy sheen or add polish

Sound Sleeping Children : )

  • Turn off the lights and play our spa music
  • Place 1-2 drops of Kalola's Essential Oil onto a flat cotton pad and place under the pillowcase
  • Give your child a 3-5 minute massage
  • Good night... sleep tight

Kalola's at Home Facial

  • Brew a cup of  Green Tea and cover the top of your cup to keep warm
  • Turn on relaxing spa music and light your aromatherapy candle or diffuser
  • Start with a cleansing massage by using your finger tips to gently circulate our Cleanser upward and out. Massage for about one minute. This not only exfoliates, but promotes healthy circulation and lymphatic drainage.
  • Rinse and pat dry skin
  • Apply mask to face with a fan brush, just covering skin, except in the eye and mouth areas
  • Place eye pads over eyes and relax
  • Rinse and pat dry skin
  • Mist with Balancing Toner
  • Apply moisturizer

Aromatherapy Rock Garden - fun for all

  • Gather beach stones
  • Arrange on a pretty plate
  • Sprinkle stones with Aromatherapy Bath Salts
  • Place in a sunny place and breathe

Protect Yourself from the Sun

  • Apply Protective Comfort Moisturizer with SPF 15, even in winter
  • Drink Green Tea with antioxidants
  • Use Kalola's Anti-Aging Skincare

Closest Shave Ever

  • Massage Kalola's Aromatherapy Massage Oil into tired calves
  • Apply shaving cream
  • Shave for the softest, silkiest legs ever

(Men love this too - apply just a few drops under their shaving cream for a close shave and incredibly soft skin.) * Common Sense: Be extra careful when using the oil to shave in the shower, the floor may become slippery.

Create a Spa Kitchen

  • Review your cupboards
  • Get back to the basics (stay away from processed foods)
  • Donate foods that contain preservatives, additives, sugars
  • Incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables (cut up veggies in advance for quick healthy snacking)
  • Stock up on high complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, choose naturally low fat foods (not processed or containing sugar), and enjoy moderate protein
  • Enjoy herbal teas and drink plenty of water
